Enjoy the tranquil beauty of a sunset cruise in Kona

Have the whole boat to yourselves and watch the sunset while sailing along the Kona coast. Relax with a balmy breeze filling the sails and enjoy a smooth voyage aboard Kōlea, our our spacious 36-foot (11-m) sailing catamaran. Our Kona sunset cruise departs from Honokohau Harbor in Kailua-Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii. We are located about 30 minutes south of the Waikoloa Beach Resort area.

What's included during our sunset sail

Tropical juice, soft drinks, bottled water and individually packaged snacks are provided during our sunset cruise. Guest are also welcome to bring additional food or their own alcohol if desired. (must be at least 21 years old with a valid photo ID)

Where we go during a sunset sail

Cast off in the hours before sunset and settle in for a relaxing sail along the Kona coast of the Big Island. During your sunset cruise you can help with sailing the boat or just stretch out and relax as you cruise along the coast. Along the way, you can take spectacular photos of the Kona shoreline and the changing colors of the Kona sunset. Kick back in the trampoline seating suspended just above the water at the bow. The grand finale is when sun drops below the horizon and the sailing vessel Kolea sails back to port.
